Going nuts..trying to find photo album screen saver

in build 7000 and 7022 i stumbled across the default screen saver when installed on my living room pc... the screen saver shows my pictures as if they where laid out side by side on a table, the picturs are panned through in black and white, the one is centerd, enlarged, then colorized....it then srincks the pic back and randomly chooses another....

it doesnt appear now that i have 7048..... what it that? anyone one else seen it? i love it....i think i still hv it on my laptop.....

    Hi Supp44,

Yes, I remember it too, I think it may have been an enhanced version of the standard one that was installed with the Live Photo Gallery but it could be one they've taken out like aurora

    Hi,

Not sure what that is, as I don't use the screensavers. A quick look thru. 7000 System 32 and I found this. But I also have it on 7048 - so it may not be the one.

    PhotoScreensaver.zip

You can probably copy the .scr from your lappy to other machine - screensavers are in C:\Windows\System32.

Thanks for reply guys.... I didn't find it on my 7000 build as a .scr. I actually am not 100% that it is a screensaver because It comes on on it's own with out the screen saver being enabled. I came home once and there is was... all my pictures that is on a different (wifes) computer was being displayed and panned through... real cool...wish I could figure it out....

I have the photo screensaver, but that is not it... looks like 100 photos set up like tile, then panning in and out.....not just a slide show....

Hello Supp44, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Do you mean the C:\Windows\System32\PhotoScreensaver.scr screen saver? It's listed as Photos in the Screen Saver window.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

    Hi,

I've just had a thought following your last post - It may be the slideshow function for either Windows media player or Windows media Centre.

Have a play with the settings there whilst playing some music

Is it "Play Favorites" in Media Center

By the way you describes the program, it surly sounds like "play favorites" under pictures in Media Center.

Awesome... Found it.. Barman58... your post made me realize I never see it unless my media center app is running which explains why I only ran in to it in my livingroom. It is a default screen saver for media center when your picture lib is set up. It confused me at first because I never set any features up. To get to it, got to setting in media center, then pictures, then you'll see an option for "slide show screen saver".... Thanks all for the help....
