    Media Player Help (general easy)

I upgraded my PC and my roommates PC to Windows 7, my roommate says that in Windows Vista, it had a button at the bottom of Media Player (next to the play button) to go to the next movie in the library. I told him no such thing was in Vista Media Player. There was no (next movie) button, only the usual next button which fast forwards and goes to the next part of the movie you are watching. Who is right?

    Welcome to SF!

Why don't you do a little exploring in Windows Media Player 12? Did around; you will quickly become familiar with all the modes and settings.

I have attached a snip of the bottom of WMP 12.

    Here you go,

To answer your question, I don't remember that function to skip to next movie.

    Same

I went through all of the settings and can not find anything that would make it default to the next movie instead of just going to the next part of the movie.

What is the next movie? Do you have 2 DVD drives or something?

I think they meant movies already on the hard drive, and I don't remember a skip to next movie function on the player.

Neither do I. I believe you will have to manually start each movie.

    RE:

They are movies already on the hard drive, under the Documents folder. When you open up Windows Media Player and it searches for media it places it in the video section of the Library Pane on the left. It's showing all of the movies (15) that are on there and what he is saying is that when he opened a movie in Vista and clicked on the Next button near the Play button, it went to the next movie. I told him no, that when you press the Next button it goes to the next part of the movie, how would Media Player know to go to the next movie and not the next part of the film.

Try pressing Ctrl-F during playback. See if that works.
