DivX "auto-pausing" on video

When watching videos online my DivX player version 1.5.0.52 (the highest version the website allows and recommends) a clearly downloaded video will start to play at any time spot but will pause automatically after a second or 2. I can see the screen shot for a few frames and hear audio. The vast majority of the other videos on the site work wonderfully. Any guesses on a fix?

Are you running the latest version of divx?
It possible that the website, not your computer, has bad videos?
You can contact divx support here : DivX Support
