    corrupted windows media player

    Hello,
    I'm using windows 7 on H.P. desktop 32 bit with I.E. 8
The troubleshooter has told me that the W.M.P. is corrupted (see attachment).
Does anybody know how to "uncorrupt" it.
Thanks for any help or advice that I receive. John

go to start, type cms, on thw icon right click, run as administrator, type sfc /scannow hit enter
or, System Restore if that is option for you
or, this is for corrupted database - Fix a Corrupt Windows Media Player Database
    cheers
    EDIT: cmd not cms, sorry
