    Windows Media Player Stop Working...


    Why WMP stop working on 1 or 2 hours after? I run wmp and is okay 1 hour and after that stop working... Windows Check Error shows ? I don't know why.

    I would put it down to an issue with build 7057. If you get the chance you should look to download 7077 x86 as it's a LOT more stable. I've had WMP working for hours on 7068 & 7077. Failing that, have you installed all the latest drivers for your hardware (video & sound) as incompatible drivers can cause issues with software.

    Ok i will installed 7077 build some day... I had installed all drivers without problem. It has been installed from Windows 7 Update. 7077, WMP haven't failed on stop working or with the drivers is that for me to stop?

    7077 has a lot more device drivers for hardware so in general has a better support base. It's a lot more stable overall. Let us know when you eventually install, and I would suggest a clean install if you haven't already. So, remember to back anything up you need e.g. Documents/Music/Video or pictures.
