    Also rather annoying is the fact when you minimize media player and launch another music file from a folder for example, media player jumps back into view on the desktop rather than stay minimized.....humph!!!

    You're not. It's the "now playing" list, not a playlist. Right click a music file when WMP is not running and select it and it starts playing that song without showing the WMP window. Do the same while WMP is playing something and it will play it next.

    Having multiple Drives with 5 operating systems and 3 versions of Seven, a take ownership option would save a lot of hassle.

    Yes thats true but not if i want to change what im listening too mid song....anyway thats not the point we want it to work in the tray as it did in vista!!!
