DeskScapes & Dreamscene work with Windows 7

For anyone interested, I found out that there's a tool that activates Dreamscene in Windows 7. ( Windows DreamScene for Windows 7 Pre-Beta 6801 - My Digital Life Forums )

If you enable it, you can use a video as your desktop, and if you download Deskscapes you can even use dream files as your background.

However, if you run the tool, the SlideShow desktop option gets disabled, and afterwards you cannot select multiple pictures for slideshow (I consider this option better than a video background (!) )

So , for anyone interested, the way to restore SlideShow is to run again the BlueBadge_Rev2 tool and restart your system. You will get an error message, because some files are already installed , but if you continue the job is done.

    Regards,

    Limneos

Well, you can enter stardock dot com and download DeskScapes , this enables the .dream files support. As for .dream files, they are not for free, but you can do some google search on that. You can get loads of them from the right place.

I'm sorry I can't post a tutorial on how to get copyrighted .dream files

dreamscene is running on 6956, & its removed the watermark!!!!

DeskScapes & Dreamscene work with Windows 7-ee.jpg

but i need to keep the dreamscene app open it the taskbar for it to keep working, if i close it the dream just disappears back to my default wallpaper..??

i would ask ''why'' but given the experimental state there in there's not likely to be an answer as yet...

but i do LOVE dream files!!

m...in my case I din't have to keep anything open in the taskbar...

what do you mean DreamScene app? do you mean DeskScapes?

if you disable it and choose a regular background, can you select many for slideshow? cause when I used dreamscene it disabled the Slideshows ...
