    Slow buffering on net viewing

Since I up graded to a new Compaq tower with win 7 pre installed I am experiencing very slow buffering of videos from the net. On my older tower with XP sp3 videos loaded rapidly. Are there others with the same issue?
    Possible settings to check?
3 GB+ memory lots of Virtual and the g force video card
    I'm at a loss!

    thanks

Are you using "homegroup" for networking, or "workgroup"?

what kind of network set up?

    LAN, or internet videos?

Lan and work groups. My computer states it is not able to connect to home groups and I am ln DLS so I assume the LAN.

You can update your ethernet driver for windows 7. Are these videos played on your browser? If so, what browser? Is it flash videos like on youtube?

Yes, u tube and other videos. I tried to find drivers for my DSL router but could find nothing. Maybe I'll look in the control panel for possible changes next. I might need to update my internet connection now.
    Thanks
