Restore from a backup before the problem started, un-install then re-install WMP, a repair install.

Let us know if you need help

well that's weird since on the web stated
"Media Feature Pack for N and KN editions of Windows 7
The Media Feature Pack installs Windows Media Player 12 and related technologies on computers running the N or KN edition of Windows 7. Available for 32 and 64-bit computers. "

Go to control Panel, Programs and Features, Turn Windows features on or off. Select Media Player and uncheck it, then come back and recheck it.

    Or try this

Make sure all folders are visible then go to C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Media Player\ and delete a file called CurrentDatabase372.wmdb it will redo itself when you start WMP.
