How do I delete open pictures all at once in Photoshop

Well, the same old thing happens; I have to delete one at a time.

I mean I deleted all of them one time and never could repeat that feat again. Somebody must know how to close all the windows at once. They only way i can close about 150 (or less) windows is to force a shutdown. In the menu it says close all windows but it only happened once.

Someone must know how to close all the windows at once in Photoshop Elements. (It says CLOSE ALL in the drop down menu.)
