    Thanks, hadn't heard of Newtek or Canopus. Magix Movie Edit Pro looked and sounded ideal, but I've read a few really bashing reviews about older versions of it.

    I'll be taking a couple weeks and just using a bunch of different trials to see which I like best, I think.

I do a fair bit of video editing and I have recently upgraded the ram to 8gb and gone to win 7 64bit. I built the pc a few weeks back and have yet to add a card. It appears gaming is the main priority and wonder if anyone has any first hand experience with a good card.
