power dvd playing help

    power dvd playing help


    i can't play dvds on power dvd the discs is clean nothing on it WMP can play it
    but PDVD can't what is wrong i want power dvd to play it when i try to play it
    it says playing stopped playing stopped what it wrong
    here is the message in event viewer

    Check whether the installed version of PowerDVD is compatible with win7. Since WMP plays the dvd fine, there doesnt seem any generic problem with the CD drive. But you can try the folowing things:

    1) Update the bios
    2) Update cd-rom drivers, if available.
