video playback and audio optimization
lve noticed that allot of my resource issues seem to relate to audiodg.exe process and playback of video..
l tend to see pretty much constant cpu access when running winamp etc tho l have gotten it down from what it was by disabling effects and changing the sound quality to DVD quality l still find that while music or video is playing it still uses much more than ld expect (2/10% constant and usually towards the 10% mark regardless of setting) l was looking into GPU assisted rendering with Media player classic home cinema, but after reading up l am likely not to be able to use it because most of my stuff is subtitled and requires me to load up DirectVobsub as a filter which l read would stop my GPU from being used because said filter would stop the process of trying to use my GPU to render the video.
so lm wondering if there are any other tips and tricks to keep my resources down and stop the usual 30ish% load to more of a minimum, as in all honesty lm not a gamer and all l wish to do with my system is watch media files and listen to MP3s while occasionally torrenting without the usual 10C temp increases just for watching an AVI or MKV (granted my temps arent too bad, but l want to keep them as low as possible along with system resources)
