    Built-in Webcam


    Ok, ever since I upgraded to Windows 7 my laptop quickplay don't work. so my webcam won't work. I had to download a webcam program in order for it to work. I don't get it. I have a HP Pavilion dv2000 that was on Vista.
    Now, on the webcam program I can record, but while its recording I can see that its skipping and freezing up. When I finish recording its still the same the audio is playing while the picture keeps freezing up. Can somebody help me out on this? thanks.

    Have you tried loading the camera drivers and associated software in Vista Compatibility Mode?

    oh wow it works. I downloaded the vista drivers its up and running. The only thing is that my buttons still not active. I have to go to the programs and look for "Quickplay"

My laptops web cam is not present after clean install from vista to win 7,my laptop is newer ASI IQ 15 ,HOW CAN I USE THE DARN CAM. IF ITS NOT VISABLE?...Flustered but paitent can anybody help me?....:confused: BUBBLES
I have an HP Pavilion tx1320us with a built-in webcam. Ever since I started using Windows 7 RC, I haven't been able to use my webcam to record video. I was able to do this with HP QuickPlay but that seems to have been removed in the upgrade to Win7. I can't figure out a way to recover the software...
