    Photos wont open

I recently installed a trial of Nero and it set the default image viewer with something called Nero Photosnap or something. I uninstalled it and now I cant open .jpeg files without right clicking and opening with windows photo viewer.

This is very troublesome and I would like to know how to set the default program for ALL image types so they all open with windows photo viewer.

    Thank you for any help
    Peace

All you need to do is to "re-associate" jpeg with windows photo viewer in cpanel. It is in default control panel>associate a program

Let us know if you need help

    Hello Solidsteel,

Double check in Default Programs to make sure that Windows Photo Viewer is set as the default program with all of it's default file and protocol associations selected as well.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

I like Nero9 myself, but it irritates me the installer doesnt give a choice.

It just sets everything to default for itself.

They really should have it ask you what file types you wish to be associated with it.

This is what bloatware does I'm afraid, although saying that I haven't tried Nero for ages, any good? I'm happy with Ashampoo.
