    network problem

Hey I just got my laptop today and it had Windows 7.
All went well 'till I noticed it kept opening these network connections after I configured my internet settings...
Can someone help me fix this problem?

What is the problem you are trying to fix?? Are you not connected to the internet? Filling out your System Specs is very helpful as well.

No, I am connected to the Internet. The problem is these "Networks" keep appearing. I'm already at Network 14 and another one appears every 40 minutes or so.
I'll be filling the System Specs in a sec.

yeah i thought that too. the thing is i just installed the OS yesterday (just bought the laptop).
it's a very unusual problem, because i searched forums about this and it doesn't seem that anyone has this problem.
i think i'll just reinstall the os then

Are you in a hotel or an area that has a lot of AP? I know that when I go to some hotels there is an AP on every floor so I have, something like "AP-Floor-6", "AP-Floor-7", "AP-Floor-8", "AP-Floor-9", "AP-Floor-10" show up while I am on floor 8. I only connect to "AP-Floor-8" and the others I don't care about. When I leave the hotel I just delete all the connections. Does that help?

    No, I'm at home.
I think it's my network driver that's opening all these connections, although I tried reinstalling it...
