It would help me, and other Seven Forum members here if your system profile was filled out as much as possible to aid you further, and give you a more accurate answer when problems arise (such as this).
    Thanx freaky88

Thank you freaky88 I see you have updated your profile now.

Have you tried deleting your connection, then searched for the same signal (as well restarting your wireless adapter and rebooting the router)?

Ok, a wireless router is dropping connections, nothing new there. This is probably a channel crosover problem. You should download and install this Xirrus wi-fi inspector tool. Xirrus: The Leader in High Performance Wi-Fi - Advanced IT Wi-Fi Networking Tools

This tool will give you a good idea of which channels are being used in your area so you can find an unused channel for a better connection. It has a little radar and also lists the other connections in your area. It shows which channels they are using and if the connection is open or has security and what type of security. You will need to access your routers set up page to find the place where you can change channels.

Thanks for reporting back. And just so you know, that is not an unusual cause.

It's a very typical cause of all Windows 7 networking problems IMO. If I had my way I would abolish all real time A/V's and their firewalls which don't work properly.

I recommend that you go to the PCTools website and use their tool to completely uninstall it. Sometimes, disabling is not enough and PCTools firewall (or any third party firewall) really entwines in your system.
