    Can't change Public Network to Home


    Hi Guys!
    I don't know enough English for explaining the problem i give the screen shot.

    Hello Aram,

    Have you tried this method below to change it?

    Network Location - Set as Home, Work, or Public Network


    Could you repost your screenshot using the method below instead?

    Thx for answer Brink, thread was useful but not for my problem, i think the screen shot will say all.
    I want a Home Network for creating workshop, because i can't join shared folders, its say that i have no permissions.

    Hello Aram, Often times when this problem comes up it's because of a secondary default gateway problem which occurs due to either the router or the network adaptor being used, or a combination of the two slightly outdated hardware's being used.

    The easy fix is to manually enter the Default Gateway in your Windows 7 Network Adapter’s IPv4 settings. The link below shows you how to do it.

    Ok, I see what you mean now. This may be able to help to change the unidentified network from public to private then.
