Windows 7: Not connected - No connections are available

Not connected - No connections available

Sorry for the delay. I suppose I have some progress to report, but it still doesn't work.

I tried the D-Link WDA-2320 Network Adapter in two other computers. One with XP SP3 worked with the D-Link software and one with Windows 7 32-bit worked also.

In this Windows 7 64-bit computer, installing the software doesn't work. Inserting the adapter says it works correctly, but won't connect to the Internet. Updating with a Vista64x driver I got from the D-Link Web site for this adapter produces "Program Compatibility Assistant. Windows requires a digitally signed driver ... check the publisher's website to get a digitally signed driver."

The card recognizes the remote D-Link router and the Linksys router with the Sierra AirCard that I have been using with an Ethernet cable, but won't connect. Then I can't even get on the Internet with my Ethernet cable and have to do a system restore.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

PS. I have a message into D-Link tech support about this.

Also, I see various methods of getting around the digitally signed driver issue on the Internet, but people who use them report mixed results.
