Certainly. Just start it up like any other application.

So, just to be completely clear. Since you can initiate a remote desktop connection from any version of windows 7, I could upgrade my desktop to windows 7 ultimate and be able to use features like xp mode on my laptop as well, by starting a remote desktop connection and then running xp mode via that connection?

you would be running the XP Mode on the host computer......it would not be running on the laptop as well. You would just be able to see the screen and input commands remotely via the laptop.

Right, thank you for that correction. It would be running on the host pc, but I would have full functionality remotely from anywhere I connected from, such as a hosted application delivered to the remote client as a service
