connect icon on the right corner always show disconnect

    connect icon on the right corner always show disconnect


    hi there, seems that there is a icon error on my network icon on the right corner, i have connect LAN cable properly, i can get the network and go onto internet, networking is fine, but the icon of the network on the right corner always show disconnect (as picture), i know that i'm silly that the network work fine with the incorrect icon, but i just want to know why does it happen and are there any way to fix it? i have try to reinstall the network adapter but it still happen, thanks for helps~

    If you have a wireless device hooked up or built into your computer, and if you are connected to the internet via an Ethernet cord and not the wireless, it will show up with the not connected icon.

    i'm using desktop and it shouldn't have any wireless devise....

    I found this solution,it may be old but worth a try:
    Network Connection Icon - Shows Not Connected when am Connected. - Technology Questions
    Post no3 by 2012.

    Edit:
    Step1. Start->All programs->Accessories-> cmd(Right click)
    the rest is as in the post.
