    I found this that may help show you how to enter the MAC address like the one here.

    should we enter the address with a hyphen or what?

    You would enter them as 00:00:00:00:00:00 with the colon. Please see the link above. It gives you step by step for MAC filtering towards the bottom.

    usually a MAC address is in the format 00:00:00:00 with a COLON not a hyphen. Some routers do it for you though
