    WPA 2


    when I try to choose WPA 2 encryption I get this error..

    It could be that your router won't recognize WPA2.

    Ok, please post the make and model of said router. Have you used WPA2 with your laptop before?

    Hello Bagavan,

    Could you post a screenshot of the entire page for those settings so that we can see all of the options availble?

    Do you have a enterprise authentication type WPA setting available on that page? If you do, then make sure it is not checked or enabled. This is what is requiring the RADIUS server IP.

    Try disabling WPA2 pre-authentication, and just use the WPA2 authentication.

    How does it work with these settings changed to the below?
    • Network Authentification - WPA2
    • WPA2 pre-authentication - Disabled
    • WPA Encryption - AES

    In this picture it appears that you have both WPA and WEP enabled. Try disabling WEP.
    The radius server isn't needed for this set up so try to delate both the radius IP and the port by backspacing over the numbers shown for them. There may also be a setting to disable radius security.
