Simple Folder Sharing Question.
Hi, everyone. This should be pretty easy but I'm new to windows 7.
I have a desktop PC running Windows 7 Pro/32. I also have a laptop running XP Home. I have a couple of folders on the desktop PC that I would like to share with my laptop. However, I do not want to share these folders with any other user on the desktop PC. I want to keep them off limits to all users except the logged on standard user, (and, of course, the administrator) and the laptop.
Basically, I want these two folders to be available to everyone except the guest account on Windows 7. I can't figure it out with permissions. I'm able to get the folders shared but then guest account has access to them.
A couple of more details:
The desktop PC has 1 standard user account that I run from all the time and 1 administrator account that I keep logged off. The remaining guest account is turned on, when needed. The laptop has only one user account, the default administrator account.
The laptop shares an internet connection with the desktop PC through a linksys router.
Any help would be great.
