network dropping while playing online

hey i just recently bought a new laptop (hp pavilion dv7) with win7 64 and i keep having this weird problem while playing online games(starcraft2) or using a torrent program to download, sometimes i get the message 'limited or no conectivity', sometimes i dont get any message and the internet stops working, i started playing windowed now so that i can check fast when i have lag and see if my net is working, cause the thing is i can simply disconect from the network and conect again, that making it work, however its frustrating. I will also like to add that while on this computer my internet wasnt working due to the 'limited or no conectivity', on my other one the internet has been working just fine, and the problem always seems to occur while downloading or playing online. Saying it one more time, the internet gets fixed if i just click disconect and then conect on my wireless network, but those 20 seconds are very frustrating to loose at certain points, and i cant just leave and let my downloads go as my internet will stop working in few mins after starting them.
Any advice or tips are apreciated, thanks.

About the only thing you can do for this type of problem is either update the routers firmware or find a better driver for your Windows 7 machine. I don't know which router you are using or what machine you have but in general this type of problem is very common when the routers firmware or the driver aren't up to date.
