    I have another name for bonjour service, I call it sabotage.

    The Op might want to try ipconfig /release ipconfig /renew at this point.

    HEY!!!! Just moments ago... when i woke up... the connection is back on!

    I seriously don't know why... but the last action I had was removing bonjour.

    This is Apple's take on bonjour. Again, I don't like it one bit.

    Don't know if removing bonjour helped, if IT Admin intervened, or what. Glad you're back up. Good job to Chev65.

    Oh it helped for sure, this exact problem has come up here many many times over the last year and a half. One of the benifits to hanging out in the boring old networking section of the forum LOL.
