    Can't connect to computer


    Hi, I have an app on my phone called salling clicker which can connect to my computer to control itunes and vlc remotely via WLAN

    I had it working on here when I had vista on here but this is a new install of 7 and now I can't make it work. It works on my friends laptop in the same house on the network so I know it's my laptop that is the problem.

    I am trying to get help on the forums but my account needs activating before I can post and it's taking a while so I though I would as you this

    Are there any settings on my computer that would prevent a device from seeing it on a network.

    I haven't set up any other security software on it, I have microsoft security essentials and the firewall is on but the relevant ports have been allowed.

    I didn't need to do anything extra on my friends computer to make it work and I haven't messed with any networking things on here.

    So any ideas guys? cheers

    Ports may be blocking it.

    I allowed the ports and even tried disabling the firewall altogether and security essentials but still no luck

I just had to reset my router. After getting the network set back up, the computer that I set up the network on is connected, but my other computer doesn't even acknowledge the presence of the new network. It can see my neighbors networks, but not the one I just created. Any help would be...
Sorry for witing this here, but I dk where else to put it. I use ati radeon 3650 graphic card... And I want somehow to connect my computer and TV.... What I need to do, and how to do it????? Please help :sarc:
