Win 7 7137 do not remember the password to the Internet

    Can we try to keep this updated when we try a new build as to whether it is still happening? Quite an important issue for those of us with a lot of vpns.

    I am on the 7201 build and I have PPPOE connection so i have to login using a username and password i got from my isp.
    Now that i upgraded it always asks me enter user and pass.
    If i disconnect and connect it always asks me even though i select the option "Remember my id and pass"

    Any idea how to fix this

    Read the replies earlier in the thread for instructions on creating a batch file to work around this. Can anyone that has installed 7260 please comment as to whether this bug still exists?

    Dunno about that but 7201 has it also.
    However the method mentioned at page one works.

I am using Windows 7 Home Premium, and it will not rememberany user names or passwords even tho I put check mark in remember me. What can I do to correct this problem. i am using IE 8. John

I have a slight problem with IE9, the "Remember Password" dialog box disappears too quickly before I press "yes". Thanks in advance for any solutions.
