the issue is not with your router, its with computer. the procedurre is lengthy.

1) i would request you to open router page, reset your security type to "WEP" and not wpa, or any other. WEP is the best and is supported widly by everything which has wireless and also mutiple computer with all the platforms. once you change your security type to WEP, type your password and save the settings on the router page. WEP ROCKS, WPA SUCKS.
2) the goal is to create a manual profile rather then an automatic one. depending what type of os you have, proceed to control panel network and sharing center. delete all the wireless network profiles you see in there.
3) click on add a network and enter the values manually, make sure the network name is accurate, select security type is WEP as we have selected WEP in router. type the password/passphrase click on ok, then trying connecting to your network using this profile.

bingo we are done.
