Yes... if you have Web Shield enabled, it chokes your speed... Mine would decrease by almost 50% sometimes, to @25-26mb/sec ... its a known problem... disable Web Shield, and the speed returns to normal...

Thanks for the infromation, just disabled it, hope to see a difference in my poor internet speed.

Let us know if you notice an increase in speed...

Chrome does seem a bit faster, IE9 seems about the same, which is fast.

Noticed something 'funny' when I installed IE9, Chrome was faster.

Compitition is a good thing, didn't realize browser improvement happened that quick
