A new server has been added that is closer to me which dropped my ping by a good amount.

How much do you pay for that?
$90 a month (includes cable TV and internet)
I'm paying for 50 down and 20 up.
At times it hits 200 down.

Even better, getting more than what you pay for is always nice.

It's much better than the DSL I had before. I was lucky to get 2~3Mb/s down. Sometimes my upload speeds were faster than my download speeds.

    brianzion,
With your speed result you say you are on FTTH and you are getting 72Mb down, Is that and error and you are on FTTC? As if you were on FTTH you would be getting the min of 100Mb +/- 5% or any of the other higher speeds BT offer up to 330Mb. Still a big difference of speed world wide. Yesterday I carried out a test on my Nexus 10 and was surprised by the result:--

    Test Date: Jan 27, 2013 9:39:29 AM
    Connection Type: Wifi
    Server: Bristol
    Download: 52.04 Mbps
    Upload: 17.76 Mbps
    Ping: 20 ms

It's faster than some people's main speed and it's a lot faster than my other tab's.

I have no idea what's happened to the net here, but it's completely plummeted over the past few days. I used to hit 95Mb/s on a good day, now I can barely scrape 20.
