A few months ago, people who had 25Mbps download and 4Mbps upload got bumped up to 50/10, and 50/10 subscribers got 105/20(I think). I even think 15/3 got a bump up to 25/4. I had 25/4 and got the 50/10 bump.....good stuff!

    Here is mine:

I think where I live is the rectum of Comcast, we are always the very last to get any improvements.

LOL. There was a post on DSL Reports about the upgrade and that's where I saw it first. It said Kentucky was suppose to get it at the end of April and I think it was the middle of May when we did get it. Illinois was slated for a couple of months after that.

That's about half of what I'm paying for,

I have the HD preferred package which says I should get up to 25Mbps

That's what I got about 3 months ago Derek. I think I was wrong about their rectum location perhaps. You could complain and have a "tech" come out, some know their stuff, if they can't fix it, get a $20 credit or something.

I tweaked a few settings in my router and I seem to be getting better than normal.

The Bay Area does have that resemblance on the map...

Back to advertised speeds this morning,

I'm amazed I can get a 5 ms ping from a speed test using Wi-Fi 15 feet away from the Linksys WRT54GL.

Sadly, Time Warner removed their "temporary turbo speed" now I'm stuck with my 15 / 1 plan. Still more than enough for my web browsing needs.
