Either school ISP is acting up (throttling) or my WiFi adapter is having interference with the rx stream today. I usually get 80 Mbps download speed, but today its download speed is pretty low.

Yes. Each display is 1680x1040 (Dell 22") I have three of them.

Not bad for a 4000 mile connection.

    @ HAVOC

Pretty low result for the WiFi. You might want to change your router settings to fix your download speed. At my university, the download speeds are now throttled at 4.4 Mbps [used to be uncapped] while upload speed is probably limited by the WiFi connection itself. Here's my speedtest result today using WiFi (can't use Ethernet anyways since the univ reserves Ethernet for their PCs which gets 100/100 connection).

BTW, it's the highest I've seen my upload speed on my univ's WiFi so I think this is worth sharing. Usually, it sits around 60 - 70 Mbps. Ping again is weird since pinging the access point takes 1ms using command prompt. It's probably some error with either Windows or Speedtest but I suspect the latter.

After speaking to no fewer than 12! Customer service people at Sky, they finally hooked up my fibre today. For once, I'm getting the speed thats on the tin. I pay for "up to 40Mb" and the router is synced at just a smidge under that. Considering what I had before (in my specs) I am very happy for £10 a month for 6 months, then £20 after that.

Just a shame I have been without internet for 2 days because the engineer plugged the wrong phone line in!

Considering I've still got 19.1Db of noise margin left, I'd be amazed if this ever drops out.

As you are with Sky perhaps you should keep taking the tablets!
