How did you get you upload speed to even be remotely close to what your download speed is?

How come you guys have such quick Internet? I live in the uk my ISP is orange and I get 4 Mbps. When I download something I download at 700kb per second. How quick do your downloads go? You guys have to pay a fortune for your Internet!

700kbps from a 2Mbps line I'd call that good going!! Up until last week I had 1.7Mbps and got 280kbps max!

Just had some work done and I get 3.45Mbps and an average download speed of about 450kbps. I'm sure if I connected to a server direct like a new group or such I'd get about 1Mbps.

My friend she gets 12Mbps through virgin, and only achieves 1.2Mbps download speed, so again your 700kbps is still rather healthy
