What's your Internet Speed?

Did you not get the speed increase last month? People who had the Performance tier went from 12/2 to 25/4, Blast went from 25/4 to 50/10, and Extreme 50 got bumped up to 105/15, I think. Have you reset your modem lately? That is what I had to do to get my increase. Also, what model modem do you have?

Well, I didn't have Blast but I had 20 mbps download and 4 upload before, I never got a speed increase. Two weeks ago I called to upgrade and it didn't kick in when it should have. So I called up Comcast and the guy on the phone said my modem wont work but I highly doubt that. Anyway, I had them send me a new modem (yes I know its cheaper in the long run to buy your own) and apparently it could take 4-6 weeks to be shipped, which sounded odd. Anyway, yes I reset modem a few times and still not up to 50.. The modem I have now is Cisco dpc2100r2

I think Comcast's increase is a myth. they don't even give you a sticker for free. for a couple of days I have been getting less than 2Mbs down and .98up. They said it's my fault though, the little sweeties.

not even mentioned in our area, about 300 miles north of you. I think UPS is faster than AT&T, we used to have that.

Just got mine today here it is using LAN connection, it's a little slower using wireless but that's always the way... The Worcester library has the fastest internet I have used over 100Mbps not bad at all, no more buffering for me now on 1080p Youtube vids.

Well I got my new Modem in now and Im getting lower speeds... smh

I'm barely getting 25 down and 3 up. I'm paying for 50 down and 10 up. I really don't want to have to call those idiots to fix it, anyone know of a solution? I just got a new Arris 3.0 modem in the mail (if you need exact model I'll post that later) and I reset both the Modem and router, still getting consistent 25mbps download so its not even like its a high traffic situation....

    Anyone?

BTW, the router I'm using is Netgear WGR614v9 and I have up to date firmware on it.
