Look on the bright side Bob, you are still faster than 70% of the US. I know Steve (Essenbe) would love your speed.
    You got that right !

Just had BT install Infinity HS Broadband. My line can take 66Mb max (according to BT)
    Here's my first readings:

apparently it will take about three days for the signal to settle down but first impressions are very good!

Wow thought mine was slow, still not happy with my connections but can't afford anything better atm.
This is a test with my wifi adapter which i'm sadly stuck with since i needed something to connect since my 50ft Ethernet cord when bad(yea my room is far from the router though it does have a little let over feet). Need to get me a Ethernet cord late since the wifi adapter isn't the most stable, get some lag in games at times or youtube vids take time to buffer at times even though the connection seems decent speed wise for my dsl connection .

Ping is 5ms higher but good d/l speed.

Miguel maybe you could get a WiFi signal booster.

Here in Dorset, not many places have fibre optic. Sometimes it feels we're still stuck on dial-up at peak times

You can check when you are due for "Infinity" on the BT website. If it says December 2013 that's meaningless as when you get to December it will alter to December 2014. That's because BT haven't got a definitive action date!
