    Curious how does one go from being a junior member to member and thereafter to 'resident fool'~?
    Your member title will change by the amount of reputation points you have..I think i read the first change is when you receive 100 reputation points..

    I have a question that I have not really read or since in any google search on internet speeds.

    Since, I am not allowed to have cable ip service. I have looked into other alternatives from dsl...err really there's only two wifi or satellite.

    The thing is that I really dl alot of data in a day let alone over a months time, currently depending upon the applications I get a maximum of about 100kb/s that is from sharing a 1mb down and 385mb up connection.

    If I were to get a satellite ip service it would cost more than cable at $80 a month...for 1.5kbps.

    From that though would I get all of that bandwidth or would it be the same as dsl which is limited to 100kbps even though theres a 1mb download speed?

    Whilst the speed that I am running is rather reminiscent of a scene out of the film " QUEST 4 Fire ", the internet speeds coming out of the Capital are an exact duplicate of everything that is wrong within the usa-north american tech sector.

    There has been for a time access to very fast internet speed which allows Asian countries to have " UNEQUAL " access to information and use of technology at a rate that is 12x faster than http speeds.

    And, more over 150x times faster than the average cable internet speeds (8000mb-average), while there have been internet satellites available at these speeds previously there are only available for spy use.

    The Japanese satellite KIZUNA, which is in service in several Asian nations allows " CONSUMERS " 1.2 Gbps the G is giga=billion.

    If you think 25000 or 100,000kbps is fast please spare me. Even at that rate all of you on here posting speeds are like 150x times slower than users in Asia.

    Frankly, the Japanese;

    have access to the most advanced technologies available today I mean the people not just the government(spy) organizations as is the cause in usa.

    In other words what takes 1-day or a week for that matter to transfer file wise from certain sites i.e. torrentz(I know you have use them come on~!) the users of Kizuna can get all the faster; so long as the seeders are sending at equal speed.

    Buffering will hardly be needed at that rate...imagine transfering your dna sequence and other vital medical histories to your doctor in the future within a few seconds allowing for complete treatment addressing you down to your atoms.

    Yet we have usa politicos who talk about how america is so much better at everything...shiiiiii who do they think their fooling...hmm...the people~!?!
