    Windows 7 & Alpha Wireless Usb device Error


    Hi eveyone!!

    Ok iam having problems with windows 7 and my wireless usb alpha divice
    well what it does is this everything is working ok once i start up my desktop
    computer everything is working fine it reads my wireless but after a while it just
    turn off my wireless alpha anntena all my wireless conections gone & when i restart i get this USB_Code_Error then the computer restarts i login and everything goes back to normal at least for a while until it happens again any ideas?

    Hi, welcome to the forums :)

    The obvious thing to ask is have you downloaded the latest drivers for the Wireless Adapter? and have you tried it in another USB port to see if the other port may be malfunctioning.

    does this happen while you are using the computer? or after it has been idle for awhile?

    I will say yes i have the latest drivers for the alpha wireless
    and 2nd i will say yes both this happen while iam in internet too
    and if i let my computer been idle for awhile so is a pain just now i had to restart
    the my computer so i can be here posting this and it get's really frustrating
    after awhile i thought it was the OS and i reinstall it but it did nothing same problem.
    i have try other Usb ports but same problem. and i have many usb stuff:

    keyboard
    mouse
    joypad
    speakers

    They all work fine except usb alpha wireless.
    and it can be the anntena cause it works just fine with xp.

    Nop this didn't work either anyone knows how this problem!!!

    you could try changing the power saving mode:

    Right click on My Computer -> Properties -> Device Manager -> NIC -> right click on your WiFi card -> Properties -> Power Management
    Then in the material properties, see if the option "allow the computer to turn off the device" is not checked.
