unable to use Bluetooth/USB with HTC Magic (Android)

    greetings,

just bought myself a new HTC Magic today, its a brilliant phone, but i'm kinda having problems getting it connected to my laptop running Windows 7 RC.

with Bluetooth, it can detect my laptop, it can pair itself up initially. but after that, it just says 'paired but not connected' on the Magic while it shows as 'currently connected' and 'authenticated' in the Properties of my Magic in Windows 7.

cannot get it to connect at all.

also, the USB syncing doesnt seem to work either, there are problems installing e drivers in e first place, and neither the phone nor the laptop detects the other if im trying to sync via USB.

would appreciate any help if anyone has faced e same problems with HTC Magic or Dream as yet?

ok so i can say that the bluetooth does not work on this htc magic - i have a laptop n95 and a htc magic - if i wanna transfer via bluetooth via laptop then it sees the n95 but does not see the magic even in discoverable mode - if i try to send from the n95 to the magic then it sees the magic but will not send - yes i can pair from the magic to laptop but thats it - the pairing doesnt seem good as im not able to transfer anything from either devices - my magic is going back to vodafone on monday whats also weird there is no option from the magic to send pictures via bluetooth - looks like this has been rushed with some serious floors!!
