Homegroup is Useless, so far

    Homegroup is Useless, so far


    This is unbelievable. I finally got both of my PCs to either create or join a Homegroup. I have shared folders (and files) between each via the Homegroup. But, both machines report that there are no other PCs in the Homegroup on the network.

    And the problem is? You say you only have 2 machines so why would there be other machines in the HomeGroup?

    Sorry to butt in but I think the OP is saying PC-1 can't see PC-2.

    And PC-2 can't see PC-1.

    Neither is recoginzing the other's presence in the HomeGroup.

    If I am mistaken, I apologize ahead of time.

    Try using the Homegroup trouble shooting guide it the link below to help you fix this problem. It can be something as simple as the time/date setting being out of synk.
