    add group to group

I used Computer Management -> Local Users and Groups.

I would like to add a group to a group but groups are not available in "Object types" dialog, only Users and "Built-in security principals" are available in the selectable object types (Object Types dialog).

Please could you help me to find out why the other object types are missing? According the help Computers, groups, Contacts, Other object types should be there as well.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean but perhaps the tutorial below will help. :)

This tutorial is close to what I tried to do. It is not a problem to add a user to a group but I cannot add an other group to a group and it seems that the reason is that object types does not contain groups (but I do not know why and how can I anable/add it).

I don't think you can add a group to another group as in combining the two groups but you can give users higher privliges depending on what groups they are a member of.

Chev65 is correct, nesting of local groups is not support on a client/workstation outside of a Domain environments.
A local group cannot be found if it is nested inside another group on a Windows Server-based or Windows-based client
