Computer is connecting to the wrong wireless network

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium x32. My computer automatically connects to a wireless network on start-up, but it keeps connecting to a neighbor's unsecured wireless network. I have checked the box to automatically connect to my wireless network (which is secure) when my network is in range (which is always, it's a desktop and the router is in the next room). But it still connects to my neighbor's network and then I have to tell it to disconnect and connect to my own.

Is there a way to keep it from connecting to the neighbor's network? This is driving me crazy, not to mention making me paranoid about being on an unsecured network!!

~Thanks~

Hi bethes, here is an attachment you can view. Go to the same window and select the one you that your connecting to and right click on it and change to not connect. GL

Thanks Polarbear.

When I navigate to Control Panel > Network and Sharing > Manage Wireless Networks, as in the picture you attached, it only lists my own wireless network, but it is still connecting to someone else's wireless.

Hi bethes, you can also right click in that window and select refresh. Try that and if you do not see it, try the same when you 1st boot and are connected to theirs. GL
