A double click should launch it!

Have you tried creating a shared folder since you got Internet working again?

Try the free 7 day trial of Network Magic Cisco - Network Magic Downloads
See if this works before doing a repair install

I would also try a repair installation from the Windows CD at this point because you don't have much to lose. Repair installs fix problems just like the ones you seem to be having on a regular basis. Recent example > https://www.sevenforums.com/network-sharing/126588-win-7-pro-network-problem.html

I'm glad the repair install worked for you Steve.

The batch file is as easy as clicking on it then hit save and run.

I forgot to say I tried the batch file first, it ran successfully but didn't fix the problem.

Happy to hear it... sometimes the best method is to just try the repair as you could end up wasting more time trying other things and failing!

yeah, funny thing though, it told me to uninstall a couple programs first (Roxio and Adobe Encore). I uninstalled, got it working, now can't get Encore reinstalled! Always something.... (I'm on the Adobe site now).
