Want to remove myself from the domain

    Hi,

I've made a mess of things, and I need your help.
Currently I can log on to my system in two ways - 1) using a local user name and password 2) using a username and password of a domain that I had connected my system to.

I have no need to be a part of the domain anymore, and wish to delete the extra log in username and password also. However, this username and password does not show up in the User Accounts.

Also, I want to remove myself from the domain, as it is applying a group policy.

I hope I make some sense.

    Please reply.

the username would not show since its not a local account...
just remove the domain (you can do it by defaulting to a workgroup)...
as for the group policy this should also pertain only to the domain and once you remove it should default to the your local policy
