So you have added domain users, as local users? Otherwise how does the user account get authenticated?

    ok, i miss important part.
I have AD with 500+ users and have one user with domain admin rights, and in windows XP i allways access in shares where only domain admins have write permissions to read, with right click on internet epxlorer (6) and open with credential of domain admin user.
Now in windows 7 where is internet explorer (8) i cannot use him like file explorer.
When i try to run windows explorer with diffrent credentials explorer don`t want to show up (i start cmd like domain admin user and try to start explorer in seperate mode and nothing and try with holding shift+right click open witf diffrent user).

How i see it is not too easy to access to share with diffrent credentials in windows 7.

Is there any trick or just m$ close any options for that (but don`t have sense for that).

p.s: sorry for my bad English.

I'm not entirely sure how you mean. You can run IE8 as administrator, do u mean running it as other accounts as well? and IE is not Windows Explorer.

in windows XP (internet explorer 6) you can use it for file browser.
And when u update from 6 to 7 or 8 u can still find in "c:\windows\ie7 or 8" old IE (6) for file exploring.

But in windows vista and windows 7 u cannot because internet explorer is by default installed 8.

in internet explorer 8 u cannot any more use it for file exploring, just for surfing.

    it is clear now? :)
    sorry for bad English again.

When i typed C:\ in IE8 it launches Windows Explorer. And in Windows Explorer bar, when I typed in www.google.com, it launches IE.

And when do the same in IE6, even though it says Microsoft Internet Explorer up top, i think it's actually Windows Explorer. The only difference between IE6 and IE8 is that IE8 launches a new pages whereas IE6 override exisiting window.
