    Hide Network Password


    hey, i think windows 7 is great but......we need to be able to hide Network Passwords (e.g. WEP)

    Hide from who? they are usually hidden .

    BTW please dont double post it cuts responses to you in hla and makes it more confusing. Just and FYI.

    well i get the schools WEP and they figured out they could not hide it like in Vista/XP so i needed to downgrade to something more crappy.. now if they could do what they can on Vista/Xp that would be great.

    well if u look at Vista/XP you can not click "Show characters" but windows 7 you can. is there a way to stop from being able to click that button?

    This is about the best answer I found for this, it has to do with setting up non admin accounts for the wireless connections. You could also use the mac filter on the router to keep out unautherized access. There may also be a way to do with using the group policy editor.

    Hide network key in windows 7


    Well i found out a solution to hide network key by hiding the network and sharing center please check out and see it solves your problem
