Windows 7 DNS problem (and a bunch of other ones coming along with it)

Hello guys, first of all i'm sorry if this is in the wrong thread section but this is my first post.
Today i'm here to tell you what happened with my windows just a few moments ago (i am still very confused).
So 1 hour ago i was playing LoL and in the middle of the game i got a windows update message (which i cannot remember) saying that the computer was going to restart (and so it did), all good untill here.. it

happens, it's not cool but i can deal with that.. so, when i get the chance to launch league again and log in, it gave me a message saying i could not connect to the servers, same with cursevoice, as soon as i saw this i rushed to chrome to check if it was my router just being a donkey, turns out it wasn't, facebook was okay, youtube was fine, and google, well google was being google... it's when i try to check hotmail and twitch

that i notice that some websites are not opening due to DNS problems, i quickly checked for solutions but nothing seemed to work, i checked my android and the same pages wouldn't open, well once again i came back to the theory of my router just slacking off, i tried a few different things such as restarting it, unplugging it etc.. then i unplugged my ethernet cable from my desktop and tried to open the domains that weren't

loading before with my android once again (thinking it could be some network setting that was affecting the whole network), turns out it worked, this was when i got worried and thought there was something wrong with my pc, i searched for solutions but nobody seemed to have had such problem like this one, having no other chance than trying to solve it myself, i ran a windows system backup, all good untill here, when i tried

again to load the websites it still didn't work, ran another system backup (older one), and still did not work.. along with this i got that irritating error of windows not being able to find updates, so this is when i started panicking, pulled my laptop out and checked that i was able to load the websites i wasn't being able to open on my smartphone/desktop. When i was about to turn off the computer and go cry rivers to my bed i got a

ccleaner notification to clean unecessary memory, i ran ccleaner, restarted the computer and everything was running fine again, no windows update problems no DNS problems no nothing.
I have no idea if it was ccleaner, nor if it was just a sudden thing, to be honest i have no clue and that is why im sharing this with you guys hoping that someone ever had a situation like this and has an explanation or something more believeable than just a technological miracle, also i want to be prepared if my windows ever feels like going on an LSD trip again.

Thanks in advance to whoever can help me with this.

In the future try spacing out that block of text, it might help someone understand your problem better, I broke it up for you.

When it is two or more devices that are acting up, don't waste your time on individual devices but check everything they have common: router, modem, and your ISP. Restart everything you have control of. And remember, ISP DNS servers do get issues or there may have been a temporary routing issue which they may have fixed in the meanwhile.

Yeah i know but what got me concerned was the cable thing, when i disconnected the ethernet cable from my desktop my phone was then able to connect to those domains it couldn't before..
Thank you for the answer btw.

Unless you had a very unfortunate moment of luck there (does happen), any Internet connection sharing on your desktop? Or any of the devices with a static IP?
