well that question mark right click on the device its showing it to open up properties post a screen shot of what you see

Support Download you will have to go through all the netbooks and laptops till you find one that looks like it what does it say on the back numbers etc

if the machine is old you may have to look for a xp driver for the wireless and if you get it you run it in compatibility mode in windows 7

hey thanks for your help. In fact this was an enourmous headache and i dont have the time so i just reverted back to a previous image and re-installed it back to vista. Thanks again

now that you have got a driver for the wireless i would copy the driver store it on a thumb drive so if you use windows 7 again you can use that driver in compatibility mode ( for vista ) in windows 7

you search for the driver go to the device manager click driver details and find the path for where the driver is like my pic
