    Network Sharing

Is there a way I can find my network password? When I try to access other computers on the network it asks for a username and a network password. I tried the homegroup password but that doesn't work.

Try this. In username write the name of an user account that belongs to the computer in which the shared folder you are trying to access is stored; so then, in password type the pass belonging to that user account.

I think I tried that. I was over at a friend's house today and he showed me I could just turn off the password protected sharing in my homegroup options. That did it for me.

Yes, that's what the tutorial is about. I'm glad you could solve the problem.
