How do you connect to the router Ethernet cable or wireless? Does the laptops taskbar icon show internet access?

Ok, I tried the LAN and it worked! I am connected to the internet but when i take the physical connection and use the wireless connection, it still won't connect to the internet. Getting a little frustrated but oh well. I will just be patient and just stay in one place since my wireless won't work. Thanks for the help guys!

Are the other computers LAN or wireless? If wireless, sounds like the wireless radio in the laptop died....check for bad /missing drivers...If they are LAN, sounds like a bad router radio....may have to buy a external wireless card for the laptop, or a router....

It might be worth removing the wifi card from the device manager, making sure to delete the drivers during the removal, then rebooting and letting Windows discover and install the drivers from the 'net.

I have one desktop computer that is LAN and a Laptop that is Wireless(Both working). Just my third laptop is not working (but with LAN, it does). I will check the driver if it is bad or what not. Thanks Ivan. You have a good one.

So, correct me if I am wrong.
Go to Device Manager - Network Adapters - (Right Click on)Atheros AR928X Wireless Network Adapter OR Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter - Uninstall
    Then Re-install it?
Please walk me through it. Thanks guys!

I did that and it says that the best driver software for this device is already installed.
